Satu entered the temple area. This time in her land is known as the Time of Dark. The Time of Dark was a time to pray to the Queen of Darkness for forgiveness or anything else you'd like to ask and you hope she'll answer you're call. Satu sat high on her knees and placed her hands on her knees. She closed her eyes and released a deep breath. My ruler, Queen of Darkness. I, at this time of need, only pray for my fiance who recently lost his life to my pack. she prayed. She opened her eyes. She was still surronded by darkness.

Amara was knelt beside an altar, a statue of a hooded figure atop its stone surface, the God of Blood was the nondescript God.
"Master, God of blood, I offer you...what only you deserve." Amara breathed, dagger in her right hand. "I have neglected to give you...my all. Please...forgive me." She whispered, pressing the dagger to the skin of her left wrist. "Blood of your humble daughter..." She muttered, digging the blade into her skin, the dark blood dripping into a clay bowl, stained from previous use, thick drops splashing atop one another. "I offer...myself." She stated, bowing before it.

Satu heard someone else near the alter. She did not want to bother the person, but she closed her eyes once again. Also I'd like to pray for the person near me that he or she receives happiness in any way she prayed. She stood up for her knees were aching. She bowed to the sky and stood straight.

"Dear father, please forgive me where I have failed you." Amara whispered through full red lips. She watched in silence as the blood burst into flames and was gone in seconds. She smiled, lifting her eyes to the statue. "Thank you." She whispered.
Amara stood, glancing around and for the first time noticing Satu. "Oh, hello there...Satu, right?"

Yes. Amara, correct? she smiled baring her fangs. She smiled slightly. She walked over so she could stand up next to Amara.

Amara smiled. "Yes." She stated, glancing at the midnight clouds. "A bit late for you to be out, no?" She bore a smile that radiated kindness, though the fangs seemed to clash with the mood.

Satu looked at Amara oddly. I usually never sleep because I'm surronded by a world without end. Otherwise, I'm usually out this late due to the moon. I'm drawn to it she replied to the vampire. She signed. She looked at the moon. It looked somewhat blue tonight. If it was a red moon, that's a different story she said.

Amara tilted her head quizically. "Red moon...what do you mean?"
((sorry its short...out of time >.<))

(( No problem)) The red mon is a periodically time that happens every two months. That causes many if most demons to go on a Blood rage she replied to the vampiress. She released a deep breath. The red moon should be pretty close by the feeling on her skin.

Amara nodded. "I suppose it has no affect of vampiresses...we go into blood rages most nights." She chuckled slightly. "But demons are more dangerous in a blood rage...no mortal is safe. Or immortal for that matter. Is there no escape?"

I'm not sure. Once when my...father went on a blood rage and my mother was the only who could calm him down. I suppose that the person's lover or friend could calm the person down she replied to the vampiress. She continued walking next to the vampiress when she bumped into her slightly. Her skin was very cold and unfeeling.

Amara shivered. "Sorry...when another's skin touches me...it brings memories. Memories of when I was human." She stated softly, taking a step to the right to keep from touching Satu. She knew that to another, her skin had the feeling of death...though she had never truly died. It was to prevent hers and Satu's discomfort that she moved slightly away.

Satu understood perfectly. I understand. Humans are interesting characters she whispered softly. Sudden memories of James came into her mind. A single tear fell down her cheek. She wiped it away quickly; this wasn't the time to cry over him. He was gone and she had to get over it.

Amara sensed the shift in Satu...the bitter sorrow. She looked down at her. "You grow sad. I'm sorry that I can't help you with this." She whispered.

It's all right. I wish not to speak of it she replied. Those memories were growing old and she wanted to forget them. Thinking of how he died was something without worth thinking of.
