Satu walked onto the street at a slow pace. She looked up and saw a moon. She howled. The howl was telling any demons in the area to come here to meet the newest demon to the lands. She ended the howl after holding it for a minute or so. She looked around. No one had come. So, she would wait.

Durriken walked the streets of a small town near Lake Magica. His bare feet numb to the cold ground as he tried to find his way on this full moon night. The hairs on his neck were already starting to stand as Durriken pulled up the hood on his brown traveler's cloak. When he heard the call of a large wolf his blood ran cold. He didn’t want to get anyway near that creature, so he tried to go off in the opposite direction.
Because of the bad echo’s within the town though, Durriken ended up going right in the middle of the demon and it’s call.

When the call pierced Ryders ears, his blood boiled. Not in anger though. The demonic side of him urged to heed the call. His lycan side didnt like what it felt, and every time one side of him felt opposed to the other, he felt as if he shared his body with two other beings who were at war with one another. But tonight the demon side won out, so Ryder went to see who had howled into the night, calling him and most likely anyone like him to the area.
He was not the first one there however. As Ryder rounded a corner, he spotted the female demon, and he could easily smell her aswell. But there was another, not demon nor lycan, nor vampire as Ryder had become accustomed to that scent as well. This man was something else, something entirely different. But he was not mortal, Ryder knew that.
Ryder walked past the man, not bothering to make eye contact. he merely walked up to the female demon and locked eyes with her, his orange hues scanning hers for a reason for being here. and at the same time Ryder kept his ears trained on the man, just in case.
"You called me here...why...who are you?"

I apologize if I bothered you, but I am new here. I wanted to meet new demons. I am Satu. Who would you be? she questioned him. She looked back at him and smirked. She took a step back and blinked. Her eyes were now like wolf eyes yellow and black instead of normal purple.

Ryder watched the girl closely. She was full demon, he was only half, if she was out to get him he would have to be on guard or else she could easily dispatch him. He nodded to her name, still worried about the man behind him.
"I am Ryder....and I am only half demon...looking foward to fixing that one day...."

Durriken turned the corner and stopped, dead in his tracks. His mind was a bit befuddled this night so he didn’t think to consult his cards at all. As he turned, his eyes widened and he wish he hadn’t. In front of him stood two demons. Here he was in the middle of a group of demons that might be getting bigger, and he was only one hybrid with a deck of tarot cards.
Trying to take on step back he slipped on the gravel and fell flat on his face, making a large commotion as he did so.

Ryder swiftly sprinted down and hoisted the man onto his feet. he brushed his clothing off and smile, no fangs, just teeth. He extended a hand to the mystic. Though he should have known better, he thought. this man had powers, though Ryder did not understand it, it was if he could sense or smell the power coming off of him.
"ello there sir...names Cantrael, Ryder Cantrael...looks like you took a bit of a spill there, ya' all right? dont need nothin checked out do ye'?

Satu walked over to the male human that had fallen. She looked at his face. He seemed to have broken his nose or at least caused it to bleed. Are you all right? she asked. The smell of blood made her shake, but she had herself under control. The blood would do nothing.

Ryder hadnt noticed it at first, but now he could smell it. The man had a nose bleed. So ryder tore off a piece of his own shirt sleeve and handed it to the man. He also happened a glance at the demon, whos eyes lit up and she shivered with the smell of blood wafting about. Ryder wondered how long the yound demoness could hold back from her own nature.
He turned back to the man and hid his face from the demoness just enough to whisper to the man.
"Look pal...you may want to get out of here...no threat or anything but with that nosebleed you could be in danger in these streets..."

The demon Ryder had a point. Any demon that smelled that blood would be here in a matter a seconds. Yes. Sorry to push you out of the way, but he's right. With demons wandering around, it isn't safe she agreed with the half demon. She reached down and help the man up.

“....thanks...” he said slowly...his eyes slightly narrowed. Even without his cards he could tell a demon when he saw one. He slowly wiped at the blood coming out of his nose with the scrap of fabric and sent a mental glare to his cards to not come out.
The cards didn’t listen and two cards came out, The High Priestess which glowed and healed his nose...but the other card made him mentally swear. The card was The Devil and pretty much gave away that he knew they were demons. That and the other card pretty much gave aware he wasn’t a human...though that was probably already suspected.
Durriken eyes widened and broke away in a run as he tried to make his way out of their as fast as he could.
((I have finally picked a color for Durriken, what do you think? I was trying to go for something mystical yet still pretty dark because of his gyspy nature.

Satu noticed people appeared from the cards. Neither of them had a smell to them as if they appeared out of nowhere. She looked at The High Priestess she didn't seem to have a problem with that one. But The Devil, she didn't like him. Then, she saw the gypsy ran away from her and the half demon. What the hell is going on? she asked.

Ryder watched the gypsie take off in a full bore sprint. He could smell the fear on him. He shook his head with a sigh, yet again he would be associated with what he was cursed to be.
"This is what we call mindless fear...fear of being exposed...and the fear of what one does not understand"

Durriken ran off, but not because he was afraid of the demons themselves. He was more afraid of what they might do to him if they found out who he really was. Most magical or mystical creatures could smell the power in his blood and on his cards, and wanted to take it. That is why he wanted to keep his cards hidden. With them hidden he could pass as a normal gypsy to most people, but, when they came out...people normally freaked out a bit.
He remembered the one time when he got attacked by a group of wizards. He walked into a bar with a group of them sitting at a table. They took one look at him and his cards and knew that he was part warlock. To them he didn’t ‘deserve’ the power of the cards, so they would take them off his hands.
Then there was the time he got into a fight with a demonness for just walking in on her about to destroy gypsy graves. It wasn’t one of his smartest moves, but he still couldn’t let her destroy his peoples graves...even though he was part of his people any more.
Durriken stopped and turned the corner, sitting against the cold wall as he breathed deeply, hoping he was far enough away.

Ryder sniffed the air once more before he caught wind of it. And it smelled old, familiar almost. So without a word he took off, a silent shadow. It was not hard to follow the gypsies scent. it was full of power, and fear, but not fear of Ryder, nor the other demon no..this fear was worry, similar to a parent protecting a child.
Ryder was soon onto the gypsie. he hung to a railing just above the man as he sat in a filth ridden alley-way. Slowly he made his way down the wall, using his claws and any bricks that were uneven as footholds. he was then a mere two or three feet from the man.
"Why do you run without fear about what I am stranger?"
