Ajax nodded, motioning at Durriken to leave the plates, "I paid the maid extra to clean up after us. Walking isn't going to be fast enough, so you're going to ride me."
Ajax, who didn't have anything to grab but his cloak, quickly tied it on and looked at Durriken, "Yes, I did just say that."
He walked down, nodded at the barkeep, and went out the door, swiftly. He had to get going on his journey before he backed down and decided not to go. He sat on the ground, calming himself. Then, after many of those calming breaths, he called upon his stored up power. Then, he shape-shifted into a very, very large white tiger, a favorite animal of his. He waited for Durriken, looking at the gypsy with golden eyes.

“Um...okay...” he said, walking over to the now tiger Ajax and swung his leg over, sitting on his back.
This was very strange for Durriken. This was the first time he ever rode a tiger, specially when that tiger was actually a person. But shrugging within his mind he went with it. He figured he would see many more strange things in his life.
“I will cast the locator spell when we got moving, I would use a super speed also, but I am not sure how that would interact with the other spell.”

Ajax turned his head, his eye gleaming at Durriken, "You think I need a super-speed spell? We'll be going very fast as it is. You'll want to grab onto the fur in front of you. I made it longer on purpose. We'll start out slow until you get the spell up."
With that, Ajax placed a massive paw forward, refusing to back down now. His looked back at Durriken, who didn't seem to be used to riding. With a thought, he shape shifted so that extra tough fur twined it's way over Durriken's legs, so that the gypsy was secure. Then, believing that Durriken was sufficiantly tied in, Ajax took a massive lunge forward, going at a jogging speed. It was a smooth gait, not something that anyone could fall off of.
Ajax turned his head again and growled, "Do the spell!"

Durriken nodded, not feeling any of the extra things Ajax did to hold him in. When he started though, Durriken was thrown back a bit by the sudden motion.
“Anywhere on the World he may be, he is within your sight, show us the way!” he called out as he threw “The World” card in front of him and Ajax.
When the throw should have ended the card stabilized. It continued to go on even though the throw shouldn’t have carried it anymore. The card flew under it’s own power and led the way toward where ever Ajax’s father was.
“Just follow the card, it will lead the way.” he told Ajax as he held onto the hair.

Ajax nodded, "Hold on, gypsy."
Then he lunged forward, at a running pace that ate up the distance easily. He made sure that Durriken was still on the whole time. At one point, he recalled yelling back, "Bow down close to my back!!! Less wind resistance!! We'll go faster!"
Then he was off again, pouncing like the great animal he was mimicking. The card was fast, keeping the exact same speed as he was. It was amazing that the card wasn't ripping apart from the wind pressure.
Ajax stopped at a stream, panting but fine. He was feeling close... his father was close... He could almost smell him... No... He DID smell him. But he was still a couple miles away... Still, by this time, his father would have sensed him as well.
With his damp sides heaving, Ajax calmed himself down and lapped up some of the clear water. Wait... he knew the stream.
Ajax closed his eyes and lost his strength, turning back into a human and curling up a little. He was shaking, and his eyes were wide.
"Durriken... this place... this is where I was..."

Durriken was stunned. This was were the horrible thing happened. The thing that he saw when he reviewed what Ajax went through. Durriken wasn’t sure what to do. Would touching him make him freak out from the past memories?
“Dude, relax, that is all behind you. Remember, your sister is always with you now. Even now. She will always be there to make sure that never happens again.

Ajax bit his lip, his cat-like eyes wide. Then he closed them, and smiled a little. He imaged that Reiko was right beside him, helping him. He nodded to Durriken, and stood up, "You're right. I shouldn't be scared of this place."
"About time... Ajax." A voice said from behind a tree.
Ajax whipped around, going into a defensive position. He had his hands on his knives, ready to attack the mysterious person. While he did this though, that voice brought back the memories, and he realized that it was his father's voice.
Ajax's expression changed instantly, and he stood up again. Then he bowed low to his father and said softly, "Father, forgive me."
"Ajax, why do you travel with a human?" his father asked, coming out into the open and looking at his bowed son. Then he took a couple steps forward, and hit his son over the head as a form of punishment. That done, he took Ajax by the arms and straited his son up, smiling at him. Then he folded his arms around his boy, "Ajax, it's been a long time, hasn't it?"
Ajax's head throbbed, and he put a hand up to it, wincing a little. Before he could even reply to the first question, his father had wrapped strong arms around him. Ajax, his eyes wide, just blinked.
"She is with you, son. She will always be with you. Not with me... she cares about you more. I know that this is the place that those boys did stuff to you... Who do you think brought you back home after he found you in the stream, clinging to a rock?" Ajax's father had a strong voice, a loving one. Some would say he had gone soft with his sickness, but it wasn't true. He loved his son.
Ajax's eyes went wide, still enveloped in his father's arm. Tears started to form at his eyes, "You?"
"Yes, me... Now, won't you introduce me to your human friend?" his father's eyes sparkled.
"He's a gypsy-warlock, and I think he can introduce himself." Ajax said, wiping away tears that threatened to spill.

Durriken nodded his head respectfully toward the Elder shaper-shifter. Since the person was found The World went back into the deck where it belonged.
“I am Durriken Posterus Petulengro. And as your son said, I am a hybrid, my mother was a gypsy, my father a warlock.” he said, not going into why he was here, feeling it was Ajax’s choice on what should be told, and what should be kept secret from his father.

"Ah, I see. Ajaaax... what did I tell you about gypsies? Tsk tsk..." Ajax's father was obviously joking, and he winked at Durriken to show that he was joking; just to make sure the boy understood.
Ajax, though, did not understand the joke, and got desprete, and started to plead to his father, "He's not like other gypsies, Father, honest! He's good! He protected me! Don't do anything to him."
"Wait... y-you wouldn't do that... would you?" Ajax looked up at his father with fear. Then, comprehension dawned on his face, and he turned away from his father, crossing his arms and sulking.
"Ajax... son... You don't understand me very well, do you?" the wisened shapeshifter said quietly. He glanced over at Durriken quickly, and then shook his head, "This is not the place for those sorts of questions. I invite you all to my house... wait, our house, Ajax. Come Durriken, welcome into the world of the shapeshifters. Understand that whatever you see from now on never leaves your lips, and if it does, Ajax and I will personally hunt you down, as is shapeshifter way. Understood?"
He was very serious as he looked at Durriken with those piercing eyes of pure silver. His eyes were completely slitted, exactly like a cat's. In fact, perched humbly on his proud head, a set of dark silver cat ears perched. He had them for one reason, they were so much better for hearing than human ears. His claws were slightly longer than any human's, and his canines were long and gleaming, though not showing out of his mouth. Most of this appearance was just by inheritence, just what he was born looking like. Some of it, though, was his shape-shifting power.
"Also, there will be no alcohloic drinks in my household, understood, youngling? It is horrible for your senses, and is dangerous to us shapeshifters, as you have seen example of. Understood?" His father said sternly.
